Not exactly on my Triumph but just returned after a three week trip on the boat and while exploring the Ashby canal I passed this place.

I would have put a basket over the side and dredged for a while, bet you would have come up with some handy spares amongst the shopping trolleys

    Hi all,

Annual service for the wasp today. All well, should be though after only 2500 miles.

The usual good service from Youles, brake fluid changed FOC after I mentioned the front was feeling a little 'spongy'.

Coffee stop in the village of Enham Alamein near Andover.

In case the name had you thinking, Egypt raised £250,000 in 1945 to thank Britain for ridding their country of Axis Forces. Most was given to the established charity (during WWI) at Enham to care for disabled ex servicemen. This enabled them to build the disabled ex-servicemen's centre and in thankfulness for this "Alamein" was appended to the village's name. Many of the injured from the Battle of El Alamein were brought back to the recovery centre in Lower Enham.

£175. After 2500 miles I'm sure the money would've been better spent elsewhere, but there ya go.

Today I have mostly been.... picking my Triumph up from the dealers. Yay!!!! It has finally arrived.

This was waiting for me when I arrived:

And once rolled outside it became:

So happy. I had to wait five weeks for it to show up but the ride home (via several detours) made that insignificant. The restricted running-in revs means it is a joy to waft along on. Shame the sun was not out but I can't have everything.
