Just booked my Speed Triple R in to Hilltop motorcycles for an ECU flash.

Hoping for great things! Has anyone else had work done by them?

@dilligaf ... LOOKS GREAT! Put a small flag on a fibreglass pole on one corner to keep your mirrors in their normal plain and still see it's there???

Looks great, but Can I suggest getting wider mirrors then you won't have to lift your arm to see behind you!!

 

Hi Dilligaf, glad it worked so well for you ! The shape of your trailer is very aerodynamic ! So the faster you go the more planted it would become. Beware speeds in town @ sharp right angle turns :- intersection and round about , as this is where you will notice a "full" trailer ! It will try to push the back end either sideways or upright, either of which would possibly be dangerous. Glad you took my advice on the tyre pressures, keep to the lower end of safe, what is the load/limit rating on your tyres??

Was gonna paint it day glow reflecting yellow for extra safety but decided against it on the grounds that the pillocks you refer to don't look for us never mind trailers

My speedmaster is crap for low speed manoeuvring as it is so I'll take on board what you say
The wheels came as part of a 350kg trailer kit

Hey dilligaf, two questions,
1- do you have your HC license now ? Required in Australia to run two or more trailers behind Prime mover ??
2- did you go into business on the quiet ? Making two trailers ? What is the asking price ?

Good photo shop work there lol.
You won't notice the trailer , even @ 150kg plus, the bike will pretty much handle like it's solo ! Only braking and acceleration will be different...! If your tyre's are over inflated you will get/feel tugging/jerking sensation . this is the trailer bouncing, you feel the tug/jerk when it lands !!! If you get this your tyre's are over inflated reduce pressures a couple of psi and try again.
Good fortune to you and enjoy the new freedom a trailer can bestow on you !

PS- it's a good earner ! You can carry the food and grog for mates !!
