Oh aye, keep well away. Awful place, full of strange men in skirts with wailing bagpipes and wild haggis roaming around just waiting to waylay the unwary biker. Best not to go there.

Was that okay Mr.O? Did I do well? Have I helped to keep the roads up there quiet enough for you, or should I extol the virtues of kamikaze sheeps and deer with a death wish - and yes, I have met both species up there!!

Your just helping your fellow bikers, warning them how awful it is. Go to Northern spain and France and Italy, they all are really great. Scotland is awful, once past central belt !!! Don't even go there !!! You hva been warned !!!! I should copy and paste this to 'Good to Know' thread !!!!

Anyone on here from Liverpool /lake district Area? This guy hears my English accent and asked me for advice on places to visit from Liverpool. His thinking for going to Blackpool then to the lake district. I wouldn't be too well up on that area so any advice you all may have I will pass on. All I know about him is he likes old cars. I'm guessing he doesn't want to pass anywhere of interest because he didn't know about it.

Todays a "washing bike day" to get rid of all the bugs that 30-odd° brings out. Much cooler today.
