The T120 is a dirt magnet compared to the previous Tiger, spent the afternoon cleaning ready for tomorrow's ride. Tomorrow was supposed the better day weather wise, another tractor ride then, washing machine is going to be busy when it warms up, washing and reproofing the textiles. Beats working.

That's sounds a bit drastic. Can't you knock the fence down and lay some concrete? Not only easier to get the bike out but less weeding to do in to the bargain.

Washed Sprint 1050 and Bonnie first thing in prep for selling. Tried to fix the Bonnie cutting out issue. Think I might have identified the problem, but no time to fix cos sunny riding weather. Popped over to Paul's with figwold where we cleaned the salt crud off his brand new but rusting Tracer - what mate's will do for a free cuppa, eh?

Spotted a young lad on a really nice 2012 Tiger admiring our parked up Tiger's. Seems he only passed his test three weeks ago and bought the bike off a mate. Invited him to join us on future ride outs. Then figgie and I shot over to Paul parked up in his lorry cab in Northampton for another brew ,,, yes while we cleaned his Yammie he was only parked up 20-odd miles away with the excuse 'I've done my Tacho quota of hours for the day boys'.

It was a a tad nippy on the way back when the sun went down, but a good bike day all round.

Out checking Rain mode, working same as last time and yes it's looking like a tractor again. Haybrige Basin for lunch and the long way home, 66mpg and 100+ miles added to the new clocks.

Had a right busy day today. Sorted out my bike lift this morning (see the thunderbird thread) enabling me to get the front end elevated, yippee. Then pulled the street twin out and had a couple of hours in the sunshine. Still a little chilly around Cheshire, but good dry roads and not to much traffic about in the middle of the afternoon. Spring and the better weather is on the way.

Sun and warmth provided an excuse for a few chores - trip to the tip to get rid of some old electrical items (small) which fitted in the Tiger's top box.

Madstad arrived this afternoon. Not enough time to fit it, so that's a task for tomorrow methinks.

Sunshine and dry roads at both ends of the day, an absolute pleasure not to be caked in salt and grit.
Massive clean and polish planned for the weekend if the weather holds, if not another litre of FS365 to squirt all over it.

Came out of the doctors this morning to see an old lady admiring the Tiger. Turns out she's 73 and as a kiddie her Dad would take the family holidaying all over the UK on his Triumph combination. He's in a local care home aged 100, so I gave her the forum details and asked that they post the old photos of the bike, not her in her white leathers on her white Lambretta that she told me about from her Mod days.

Then off to #1 Daughters to complete clause seven on the Dad's Job Description (gardening). On the way popped in to Northants Classic Bikes in Rushden where I saw a couple of nice Triumphs and one of those white scooters that's always parked outside, so had to take a few photos to post.

My Grandad had a Triumph Tina & sidecar, I think it was a 2 stroke, dad took it over when we moved in with him after Gran died, seem to remember it was a metalic greeny colour.

And it was known as the Triumph 'Tina', so Gloria will surely love it.
