doesn't taste any better now that it has to meet eu health and safety standards. ie it has to be served below a certain temp and cant be left standing too long.
I was in Dublin just before xmas and went to a bar I'd gone to years ago with memories of smooth creamy guiness that had been settling for 15 mins before being topped up. No chance, the chilled pint was rendered virtually tasteless and it was poured in less tan 2 mins. Hopefully the legendary pint that was is still obtainable outside the cities.
Should this go into the rant of the day?
The boat show used to be the only place in this country where a pint of guiness was closest to one poured in Ireland

The West of Ireland is Great IF The weather is good. The Ring of Kerry is something else.

    Like nectar from the Gods!
I lived on Guinness for 1 week when staying in Cork and visiting the surrounding areas.
You cannot get that taste anywhere else outside of Ireland.

Oh! A bike related question, how rare, even rarer still on this forum, a bike related answer: Avon roadriders.

well ive been toying with getting an above clocks mount for my sat nav as i found the handlebar mount too close and too much of a head movement to look at it. After looking at the possibilities none actually said how they fixed behind the clocks and I was reluctant to spend another £50 odd quid so I decided to see if I could use my Ram handle bar mount. I could. I had to cut a bit out of the screen mount bracket and shorten the bolts ( best done with the nuts on so you re thread as you take them off)

A bit of padding so the clamp tightens up

taraaa! I'm quite pleased with it, yet to take it out on a test run though. It also protects it from the weather a bit better

Today I been mostly bimbling around the Peak District.

Doris is dead and the sun is shining so I thought it would be rude not to get the bike out. Just got back from a lovely ride out round Crich, Wirksworth & Carsington.
