Buying it, and probably washing it the moment I get home!

Never had a Triumph before and its going to be a few days before I even attempt a decent ride on it with these wet roads

I think you are going to enjoy it, forecast is warmer for the weekend so you might be lucky and able to get there and give it some :D:D

I admit I was a bit nervous as to whether I'd bought the right bike, the test ride didn't give me much riding confidence but then a test ride never does.

Rode it about 15 miles today in the horrid weather and it is certainly growing on me, fast. Very surefooted and smooth. Forecast looks warmer and dryer for Sunday, so hopefully I'll get the chance to get more natural with it then.

It was 90 degrees F here in Phoenix, AZ yesterday. We rebuilt the front suspension on my 2016 Speed Triple S with lots of bits from K-Tech. I weigh in at 225 lbs. and needed appropriate springs and valves. The front is now perfect and I am awaiting a custom spring for the rear shock. She corners like a train on a track now, absolutely flawless.

It beats the 110 to 120 degree Summer fun, lol. The desert Southwest is amazing for riding this time of year.

Can anyone please tell me how to access the battery? Someone has fitted a charge lead but I don't have a charger with the required connector. ;)

Might it be a good idea to get yourself a suitable connector and put it onto your charger?

First take off the pillion seat (key for this is located on the LHS panel) then you will need an 8mm spanner to remove the bolts holding the riders seat and the battery is under there.

Not a great deal today, although it is nice out there at the moment, put her up on the paddock stand gave her a quick once over with the microfibre cloth checked the oil, all seems ticketyboo, may even have a little pop out after lunch, be a shame to waste the day.
