Nah, got to have the rear wheel removed to fit as Triumph kindly put one of the fixing bolts on the inside of the single sided swing arm behind the dude wall of the tyre....

I'm more than a bit pissed off! Got my "new" chrome teardrop drilled stem mirrors yesterday, the guy I bought them off said they were unused. When I unwrapped 'em they are quite obviously "used", came with 3 collars (for 2 mirrors!) one damaged, road cack still in the top of the stem &, worst of all, a couple of tiny chips in the chrome. I text the git & asked him why he said they were unused when they're clearly used? His response, "I took them off me Rocket & polished them up there may be a little residue left". I sent the arse another unpleasant text & no reply. So much for the "brotherhood of bikers" if I can screw another few quid out of you by blatantly lieing & hoping you're a blind idiot I will. When I'm next in the Northampton area, to quote Nick Lowe, " I love the sound of breaking glass"

 

What a tosser! Where in Northampton area as im over that way with work quite often & have some BIG hammers in my van! :biggrin:

I wouldn't have minded if he'd said they've done a couple of thou etc, I'd probably still had 'em & in truth they ain't bad, but not 'unused'. & he was taking the piss.

Went for a little ride over to Warwick & Stratford Upon Avon. If the weather is nice on Bank Holiday Monday i shall probably go for a jolly over to Matlock :smile:

Datatool s4 alarm fitted! New key fob made with remote plus a few tweaks to the bike set up. Sweet.

 

Took a run up to Matlock this afternoon, lovely ride, loads of bikes, went to put a load of forum cards on all the Triumphs only to find I had been beaten to it!!!
Was it Richard or Tony??? Come on which one of you is on my turf?? Lol

Managed to find a few without to leave the card on, some cracking paint jobs on some rocket Threes....
