Yep, big heavy bugger and not easily moved on gravel in the pub car park, but on the move very light and chuck able in corners.

This morning, a learner used too much front brake on a white line, I help out.
Road was wet and probably a bit of road scum made the conditions quite bad, I was using my rear brake a lot more, probably 60% front and 40% rear, this learner unfortunately took a handful of front! I never did identify why he braked so hard at that point that caused him to slide...

All caught on my Drift Ghost HD s

Actually got to RIDE IT!!!!! (Although only to work) :0( Finally after 3 1/2 weeks of not riding due to injury and only being able to look at her sitting sad and alone in the garage, I've finally healed up enough to get back on her...........oh how I missed it! :0)

Put the front mud guard on today, and hated the colour, put the tank on to be sure and hated the colour, so it went back to the guy who painted it for me and told him to repaint it the colour it was ( as I asked the first time to match the colour) I said at the time of collecting it it didn't look right , it was only when I put it on the bike i thought..... Nah. It looked like a ford tractor colour  So waiting for new colour now. Fingers crossed  see pics can you see the difference, image.jpeg image.jpeg

Hi Wayne, not sure what to say, my work monitor is pretty naff so the colours seem to be very much the same, maybe the mudguard is slightly lighter. I hope you get it sorted soon, it looks like you have quite a project on your hands there, lovely and clean though.

After SWMBO had a birthday yesterday I seem to have accumulated some brownie points.
On waking to a cloudless morning and trying to decide what jobs to tackle first boss lady says I'm off to have my hair done why don't you go out on the bike and do the jobs another time.As I always do as I'm told ,off I went.
Popped up to Stratford on Avon for a look to see what I could get as a trade in on the Speed. Then through the Cotswolds to see my mate in Witney. Nice 90 mile trip.
Possibly off to the seaside on Sunday if the weather holds.

Trying out a gel seat pad I bought on ebay for £52 delivered. Price seems a tad steep for what it is, but it works just fine. Easy elasticated strap to pull under and off the front of the seat. Stable when riding. No numbness after admittedly only a short ride. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141784789178

Took the bikes to East Midlands airport today to see the Vulcan Bomber fly by. What a great sight and sound sorry the camera work is not great

Thanks for sharing Richard. We used to cycle over to Wittering in the 60's to see the V Bombers standing on the tarmac ready to hit the skies in the event of the 4-minute warning. For an unputtabledowner get hold of a copy of 'Vulcan 607' by Roland White, about the Mission Impossible flight of the patched up V's to the Falklands during the argy bargy with the Argies. A really cracking good real-life yarn.

The Vulcan passed about a mile for my house and I bloody well missed it  Oh well! I did get to see her with the Red Arrows at Fairford earlier this year.
Managed to pinch the memsahibs 800 Tiger this morning, appreciated the hand guards and heated grips as it was a bit fresh. Egg bacon with bubble and squeak at Jacks Hill cafe :)

Just been out for a coffee. Well my favourite bar is 40 kms away !!! The new seat has completely changed the feel of Kitten - worth every penny of the 170€ it cost.
