The second verse is better when the drums and rock guitar kick in.

It'd have to be Surfing with the Alien, by Joe Satriani, for me.

I think the one song that sums up my motorcycling experience is
    Supertramp playing It's Raining Again.
Have I mentioned that I'm a glass half empty kind of guy...

Rush, Spirit of radio, possibly cos I’m reading books by Neil Peart at the moment, his motorcycle journeys during his concert tours were epic. Verse two captures it for me.
“Off on your way hit the open road
There is magic at your fingers
    For the spirit ever lingers
Undemanding contact in your happy solitude”

Well, I clearly go for longer rides than you ladies. My play list reflects my stamina.

Well, obviously Pink Floyd is a given. Especially wish you where here’. Not you obviously, I was referring to the music.

i’d also have Genesis (after Peter Gabriel) and mostly the live albums with Chester Thompson bashing the drums with P Collins.

Nothing. I ride to clear my head and decompress. All I need is the sound of the motor and the wind.

I go for long rides too, and have playlists to match. The title of the thread asked for a song, singular.
