    Im losing the will to live with these confusing specs. Most specs must be monday to thursday with friday afternoon as the 'other spec'!

    My SE has alloy engine casings, not black and says SE on the side panels if this helps! IMG_2211.JPG

    This guy posted a picture of his identical bike on the Bonneville owners facebook page - looks like alloy casings too.

    I thought alloy cases were std. on the SE - but maybe it's year-dependent ?

    I think some of the dealers sold std bonnevilles with drab colours painted up from '8Ball' custom painters and that's how a lot ended up hence black engine cases.
