What model of Bonnie?

Im losing the will to live with these confusing specs. Most specs must be monday to thursday with friday afternoon as the 'other spec'!

 

I have no idea, but would like to know as well

 

My SE has alloy engine casings, not black and says SE on the side panels if this helps!

 

This guy posted a picture of his identical bike on the Bonneville owners facebook page - looks like alloy casings too.

 

I thought alloy cases were std. on the SE - but maybe it's year-dependent ?

 

It's got me wondering if the wife's bike is actually a std Bonnie with a load of bits fitted, just checked the paperwork but it all refers to Bonneville, no mention of SE at all.....

I think some of the dealers sold std bonnevilles with drab colours painted up from '8Ball' custom painters and that's how a lot ended up hence black engine cases.
