Short blast between the showers. My Speed Triple must be feeling a bit left out as I have not thrown my leg over it yet this year...MV looks alright for a 17 year old bike ..!

As bike porn goes, I think the Aprilia RSV4 is the sexiest thing on 2 wheels. As far as current production bikes go anyway.

Put the standard exhaust back on the superduke today and took it a hoon. Its got a lovely note for a standard pipe but its quite heavy! The induction roar is glorious and very distinguishable when its not got a loud pipe drowning it out! At the end of the day I want to hear my bike, I don't want half the county to hear me acting a dick :p thats the best bit though. I can redline it and not have to worry about who's 2 miles down the road

I just love the induction roar on my speedy. The TORS are a bit louder than standard, but don't drown the induction. That throaty triple roar is addictive!

Induction noise is always nicer than the exhaust noise. Some bikes have it and some don't! Strangley my last superduke didn't, but this one does. I had a 2013 street triple which was one of the best, lovely throaty triple induction roar

Cheers Dawsy..! It’s an ambition fulfilled. I’ve owned it for 16 years and still get a buzz from it. It’s a bit angry but quite easy to ride, with a great mid range. It’s a great bike to have in the garage. But next time out it’s the Speed Triple..!

Damn - I’m probably too short to ride it and now you put it out of reach/sight too.

    Ouch - you are cruel.

That looks nice and brings back a few memories. I had a test ride on the 750 when it came out but I didn’t like the instruments on the tank. It went well though, well, it would do wouldn’t it, I was riding an old GT550 Suzuki at the time. :p

I’d love another stroker just for sh!t$ and giggles but you’re right they are way overpriced now, even if they are as good as new. There’s an X7 on eBay which looks great but it’s the thick end of 8 grand. Surprise surprise no ones bidding on it!

We used to go for either Piper or Alfa 4 into 1 but god they were loud on the Kawasaki (Z650) My Alfa with the baffle out (Katana 650) wasn’t as loud as my cousin’s Piper with the baffle in, summat to do with the more radical exhaust timing on the Kawa.

Yesterday was International Female Ride Day so I decided to get out for a bit of a ride to celebrate the day. Last year's IFRD was moved from May to August due to Covid and I did a solo rideout on my Speed Triple. This year I also did a solo rideout but on my Low Rider S. I'm wearing my t-shirt from the August 2020 ride in the photo as I didn't know about this year's resumption of the event in time to order the 2021 version.

So here are some photos of my non-Triumph on my ride to two non-Triumph dealerships. ;):joy: First I rode to our local H-D dealership to say hi to the guys there and to check with my favorite tech on a couple of questions I had. From there I rode a few miles to the south to a dealership called On Any Moto. OAM carries Ducati, Moto Guzzi, MV Augusta, and Vespa. In addition, interestingly, they had not one but THREE BMW HP4's! I'm not sure why they had them since there's a dedicated BMW motorcycle dealership in Tucson. On this particular day there was an MV Augusta promotional event going on including test rides. I didn't know about that part and only knew there was something going on at all when a friend texted me to see if I was going to the "open house" at On Any Moto.

Finished the break-in period on my Ducati 950 S, It will be wonderful to be able to use all the power now. It is an amazing bike , comfy and fast. The TFC is now in semi retirement , I'll ride her once a week to keep things fresh.

Had the 12'000 miles service done on the GS.
    Had some new tyres fitted.
They lent me a 1250 GS.
Managed to not buy a new bike. It was close though
