What a great morning, again! Jesus this bike is good... so easy to ride fast, so compliant on any surface yet no bounce or dive, no harshness. Extremely direct and planted. I'm stunned how good it is! So plush! What a well sorted machine! This is what a road bike is meant to be, well done KTM! Not even my street triple could corner anything like this and it was seriously good! Go ride one! I'm fully aware I'm going on about KTM on a Triumph forum, but I don't care... It IS that good!

The Sun didn't come out until about 2pm today so decided to nip through to Perth to get a tin of paint that i wasn't really needing, it's only a 30 mile round trip but i can't seem to do short runs at the moment! so did a few detours on the way home, when i got home the wife asked if i went to Glasgow for the paint:joy:
Stopped off at Meikleour Beach Hedge just outside Blairgowrie, it's the tallest hedge in the world, it was planted in 1745 and is 120 feet high and 580 yards long

If you are enjoying the GS as much as I'm enjoying the KTM then can I ask you, do you feel compelled to lick it and have you rubbed your groin against it yet :p:joy:

Yes we did. I strapped them all together then fastened them to the rear carrier. The panniers were put to use carrying the picnic and an extra layer, which we needed when we got there.
Made it interesting for Donna to get on and off:p

Yep, we like that too. Ideally we would have been closer to the sea near those vehicles but the wind was blowing off the sea and it was quite cold, hence the slightly hideaway position we were in and the use of an extra layer of clothing.

after a very rainy Saturday, had a glorious 4 hr ride in the North Georgia Mountains 65-75F of spring sunshine. Half way to broken in. Amazing bike, always seems to want to go faster. Big Canoe 20210425.jpg

Fitted the R&G rad guard to my Kwacker today. Looking at it in my hand I would say it is vastly overpriced at £55 + vat but I suppose if it stops a stone going through the radiator it's worth it.

Sounds delightful, Wessa! And ice cream and motorcycles make a great combo. :)
