    Cracked it Tony.

I was hard on Helmut to be honest, he did say Garton,. But it is sited on Garton Hill two or three miles outside Garton itself about halfway between Garton and Sledmere. Apparently you used to be able to go up to a viewing room inside, but its not open to the public anymore. Even so you do get great views across the Yorkshire Wolds from there.

Here's another shot from roughly the same position taken a few years ago with another Honda I now no longer own. 20180503_114538.jpg

And there I was thinking it was the Yorkshire Amalgamated Space Agency (YASA) latest attempt to land a rocket at the south pole of the moon.

Today I have a day off work and the big yellow thing in the sky that I have a distant memory of being called “the sun” was out - so I had a nice 120 or so miles blast about on the Fireblade. Can’t say that the sun was a persistent presence and of course I got rained on briefly (wouldn’t be summer 2023 without, surely???) but it was a lovely trip out all the same. I am appalling at stopping for photos as I just like to keep going when I am enjoying a particular road or scenery - just got one when I stopped for a drink. I am VERY pleased to report that all wildlife steered clear of me today .

Lovely morning hooning around Down and the Mournes, bit misty round the mountains but dry and perfect temperatures of around 19c

Being a 100+ miles up the road I decided to take the 'Wing today as several of us went to Cooter Brown;s Rib Shack in Jacksonville, Al today. Ribs were well worth the ride:cool:

Time to investigate the proverbial British bike oil leak
The Armstrong mt500 leaks quite a bit from the front left of the engine, right where the primary filter is to add confusion, and visual inspection is limited. I narrowed it down to the clutch case gasket must be torn.
To be fair, whoever has been in here previously simply didn't bother with a gasket at all :(
Umm what had they been in here for?

Had a play in Ireland today, love the place! Lakes everywhere, endless twistys and no traffic. Weather wasn't bad either :)

I'm thinking it might just be the rider who is the hooligan, @andyc1. ;)

That's a terrific photo, @Geoff Butler!:grinning::heart_eyes: Definitely poster-worthy or at least print & frame worthy.
