What gets you goat?

Ride into london today and in the 40 min ride probably came across every thing I hate with motorists, no indicating, pulling across lanes while doing make up, blocking lanes to stop you filtering, in fact look at all the previous posts and you'll get an idea!! No new Thruxton r owners though!

 

another suggestion from me and probably mentioned before is these so called celebrity programs I dont want to see them dancing, diving, abseiling or ski jumping and who the hell are they dont take much these days to call yourself a celebrity.

 

Another thing that really gets on my tits are people posting photos on forums without giving any though to the size of the file.

For example; on my 16" laptop an 800 x 600 picture will fill the screen in perfect detail. But of course we now have phones and cameras that go up to perhaps 10mega pixel images.

Well why is this important? When a forum hosts the pictures on threads they need to be able to allocate a certain amount of memory from the provider. When pictures are 800 x 600 they have a file size of 0.480 mbs whereas a full picture from a modern 'quality' phone or camera can be 6000 x 4800 or a file size of 28.80mbs. In other words nearly 50 times the file size. This slows down the whole forum and the way threads work.

So what's the point in having these huge pictures? BOG ALL cos' you can't see the full picture so it automatically gets shrunk to view - but not the file size.

Also, gits who try to sell something on Ebay, but can't be arsed to get the pictures right - so they are either on their side or upside down.

I would like to castrate the designer (German) who decided it would be a really great idea to put a stylish little round indicator in the middle of a large bright tail light!

Celebrity

How you manage to be on reality TV one minute (Joey Essex), then the next your a celebrity ???? WTF is that all about ??? How these vapid f*ckwits get to become household names, on front cover of newspapers, magazines appear on celebrity programs is beyond me. And feckin celebrity programs that really does boil my piss (already covered on this thread).

Come the revolution, anyone who has been referred to as a celebrity that cannot actually prove why the would be celebrated (most people, seen on our TV's), will be taken to a large stadium, locked in and left to really survive, hopefully cannibalism will kick in after a week and we'll be rid of the bloody lot.

Look up the definition of a celebrity / celebrated person, it is not just because you appear on TV ! That is a media whore in my opinion and the sooner we start referring to them as that instead of celebrity, the world will be a better place.

To seal the argument - Joey Essex has just bought a house worth around £3million !!!! How much do you hate them all now ????

 

'They' become 'celebrities' because 'we' buy newspapers, magazines etc featuring them.

Starve them of an audience I say.
