What exhaust pipe upgrade for a speedy ?

    i have long tor's on mine, had a pair of short side slash when i got it but was far to loud so bought second hand off E Bay now it sound sweet

    I cut the inner out of the back of the standard exhaust , broke the welds on the baffles and took them all out , sounds loud and mean now , think I'm gonna slash cut them soon to the rear pegs aswell , had to re jet the carbs.

    I managed to buy a brand new standard set of exhausts on eBay for £1.04 so have a fall back if it all goes wrong lol

    £1.04 that's a bargain in anybodys books! You could weigh them in for scrap for more than that!

    Today was mostly spent cutting down the long pipes , have left one baffle in place , doesn't sound any louder than with the pipes long but I think it looks better and more aggressive.

    Looks sweet. Don't you find that the plastic seat protector is a tad uncomfortabe, though?

    Lol , yes I gave the screen brackets a coat of hammerite whilst it stopped raining for a few hrs ;-)

    Looks good mate, did you just slash cut them with a hacksaw?
    Damn site cheaper than Triumph short TORS anyway :rolleyes:

    Cheers , 9 inch angle grinder did the trick , took a while to cut the inner mesh back with a hammer and old chisell though lol.
