I'm afraid we're gonna have to disagree on that one I'm afraid. He's not the greatest frontman Labour have ever had but the idea of the Tories in power for another 4 years is very worrying. They've had 9 (or is it 11?) years to bugger up this country, mainly for the less well-off, under the name of austerity (didn't notice many high-earners round here suffering). Then led people to believe the EU was somehow responsible.
We're obviously not going to agree on this, we should just be grateful we live in a country where we can openly put forward our viewpoint.

We should certainly maintain civility but ‘austerity’ was never designed as a vote winner. It was all about putting the brakes on borrowing as Gordon Brown had maxxed out the credit card and THEN we had the crash. There was a real danger of inflation and interest rates destroying everyone’s purchasing power. The rich? They can move. If Corbyn gets in they will and take their money with them.

Not only that, but the fact of how he (Corbyn) flirts with and supports terrorists, is truly scary. And could anyone really vote for any party that has Diane Abbot within its ranks.
I’ve never voted Conservative in my life but I think they are the least dangerous and obnoxious and have some amount of credibility. Like Dozers Dad said before you vote for the party you despise the least.

Yes. The irony is that Boris has tried to deliver what he promised, and Labour (who stopped him from doing so) are blaming him for failing to do it....

This is one of the problems with the first past the post election system, it forces you to vote pessimistically for the least worst to avoid the nightmare option winning. So we end up with a perpetual two party system, and nothing really changes, as either way we end up with contempuous deceitful twats in government and parliament.

I wouldn't say proportional represention is an ideal system either, but at least it would give new political parties a chance to establish themselves, and you might not feel like a vote for a new emerging party is a wasted vote.

As someone mentioned earler, a None Of The Above option should be introduced, and in constituencies where N.O.T.A wins the existing candidates should stand down and the election be rerun with new candidates.

Also constituencies should have the ability to sack their MP, then the MPs might be more inclined to represent their constituents more accurately and honestly.

Manifestos should be a legal contract, so any party deliberately and fraudulently misleading voters with false promises should be legally accountable, with fines and prison sentences for the senior party members responsible, that might sort the bastards out :p

    Sorry, rant over...:)

Corbyn car crash courtesy of Andrew Neil. Nearly had an asthma attack laughing until I remembered he hopes to be PM. Forget his politics it exposed his feeble grasp of everything.
