The point is this compare is used as a kind of "excuse" to justify the riot some agree with. Nothing else. My analogy needs to be understood on the principle of comparing/opposing events just for a justification purpose.

No not a politician at all.
Engaged in the city life (administrator in a cultural structure, supporting live music, popular education etc) , talking friendly with local elected people from opposite views without issue.
