Agree on the Opel Manta. A mate had a 1.9 Manta Berlinetta, lovely car. Middle one looks like a '70's Chrysler Alpine. Not sure on the other one, don't think it's a Triumph, fronts all wrong. Definitely not a styling icon.

This thread is bringing back old nightmares. My first boss in '78 had a Moskvich. He sold that and bought a Wartburg Knight. "Piles of shite" gives them undue credit.

Agree, 304 (rear lights confirm), Renault 20 or 30 (roof lines confirm), and Opel.

Triumph and Scimitar were really rare in France.

Mmm, not too sure that's a triumph, poss mk11 2000/2500, Renault 20, maybe but the other is a mk1 Ascona, not a manta, wrong back end..

Completely the wrong front end for an Ascona. That's a Manta 2dr coupe, all day. The rear window doesn't look right for a Scimitar, it's too squared off. Scimitars have more ronded corners on the rear glass. No way the one on the left is a Triumph anytning, lights are all wrong for any version of 2.0 or 2.5 model.

Agree about the MANTA B (had 2 of them!); no idea of the middle one and am unsure about the leftmost but it has a the vibe of an early Fulvia about it?

Looks like mk1 zephyr, rover 75, singer gazelle for the 1St 3. I haven't got ny bins on so otherside a bit blurry. Probably mg tf and Austin 7 in there too. Not good onbtuesday bikes, especially as I'm such an old gimmer that I can't make them out...

Think the first is a Ford Zodiac because it says so on the bonnet. Is the next a Wolseley? After that I reach my age limit! Maybe The third is an MG and AKK565 is maybe Austin 7.

This is great, reminds me of the Christmas quizzes that used to get handed around.
