Troublesome Daytona!

    Two questions about this 1) I take it that you have made sure that this is the right starter motor that you have replaced and is it new or second hand? and could it be that you got another dud starter motor?

    2) I take the engine is turning over freely? I know sprag clutches were a bit of an issue on the earlier Hinckley Triumphs but not sure about the EFI's and have you called you local Triumph dealer and asked their advice, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

    Also I had starting issues with my 1000 Daytona and changed the battery to one like the link below and since swapping the battery the bike starts up almost straight away.
