    Don't know if anyone who is not registered with myroute has tried your link yet @crispey but i've made up a route and put as link in the "lounge" to see if non members can view it, i think you have to log in to see it but not 100% sure..reason i have put it in the lounge is more likely get a response there

    It would be good if there was a way to copy the route and post a picture,i've had a look about and it seems the only way to is sharing via facebook and the like,,i tried printing it out (so i could scan it onto my computer) but if it is a large route it only seems to print part of it:confused:...must be a way:oops:,it would be really handy if someone was going a run and they were able to post a picture of the route up for anyone wanting to join at a point in the route that suits them..i think @crispey did post a way you can do it with google maps but can't remember now how he did it:oops: but it would be better if we could do it on the myroute-app

    That ain't the Dunoon / Hunters Quay to Gourock ferry!!! And it don't look like that on a Friday in July, I can assure you. They cram them in like sardines.

    Ok so honestly, folks! Which route?? West coast and ferry or middle and m8? I'm happy on either, there is over an hours difference 5.15 compared to 6:40, the option of dry or wet route doesn't come into it cos we all know what it'll be, which will be more of a pleasure?

    Be positive it's going to be sunny:) west coast and ferry! leave just after breakfast and you will still get to Bellingham before most folk, IF it is bucketing down just go the quickest route;)!

    +1 on DougieD reply, but to be honest both are great rides, so if dry over rest and be thankful and down thru the Campsies is great (warning, road surface's are poor around central belt). Both got crap bits, but majority good. Watch out for polis over the rest, always hanging around like arse-berries !(bits of shite, usually found hanging out the back of sheep).

    If it is bad weather and blowing a hoolie, don't take the ferry, standing holding your bike for 20 minutes in the rain ain't much fun, but still an experience.

    Follow your heart, but any ride that gets you on a ferry is always a bonus. Love ferries / bike combo.

    I pay £25 a year membership to MyRoute App for Gold membership. I thought it was about time for a renewal so was having a look.
    I was offered lifetime membership for 74.50 euro's which is £64.86 so I've taken the offer.
    Seemed like a good deal to me.
    Might be worth a look to see if it's open to everybody.

    Can you join the group even if you're just a free MyRoute member??

    Yes, I am admin, and I'm only a free member. Unless something has changed.

    If you can't, think you can get a free 3 month gold trial, join up but then don't pay at the end, that's what I did.

    @PaulSpeedTrip - just approved you buddy.:cool:

    just had a look i can see them,dead easy for me to copy,i just open up the route and click on use route then it goes into my routes, i'll do that and have a look at them Cheers Andy,i went to the North west about 10/15 years ago and we did a cracking route from Belfast up to near Portrush where we were staying,but i was just following the leader as he had been loads of times so not sure of exactly the route we took,did a fair bit of coastal roads and stopped of at Giants causeway,some great roads i'll have to go back sometime:)
