A quick update: I went to the dealer yesterday to ask wether there are any news. I was told that they tried to call me to inform me the bike arrived at the dealer's other branch about 8-10 days ago. Unfortunately as it seems they only tried to call once (I had my mobile in flight mode at that time) and didn't leave any kind of message. Therefore I lost a bit of time now. I did the payment immediately and now they have to organize the papers from their bank and build the bike according my order (I ordered quite a few parts from Triumph directly). If I am lucky it might become the second week of April. The waiting gets worse now.
Another update: if all goes well, tomorrow will be the day of licensing and pickup Will keep you posted.

Good morning! I was not sure if anyone would believe me, so I waited until I could make pictures by myself: bascially in parallel I bought a used 2011 Tiger 800XC for my second home in South Africa. I now got the chance to ride her finally - I must say that is a magnificient bike. I am still getting to know the beast but look forward to great rides in the bush.
If you look closely, you‘ll find an Elephant on the picture (no, it‘s not me ) There were also two other Elephants and two Hyenas in sight, but left before we could stop and take a picture. They seems not to appreciate the sound of two Tigers. If that‘s not a proper ground for an adventure bike!
