Having stripped down Tracey to get to her box, hang on! That's another forum!!
I stripped down Tracey to see if there was any reason for induction, and there wasn't so sprayed a bit of fs365 around her nether regions, put her back together, test rode and the noise has gone!

Could it have been vibrating plastic? God knows but fingers crossed it don't come back. Cheers all

Before the GMU I needed a brake switch. sent off for one, and waited,( well sent for 2 just to make sure) I was fine with that I knew the whole story and knew I wasnt being bulls41ted ,so all good.
It did occur to me that if I put my bike to a dealer and had the same wait, I would be jumping up and down raving about" waiting 5 days for a fing 2 quid switch" blah blah blah, and wondering "whats realy going on" Its a good job I do my own servicing.
I dont mind riding a bike I service. I dont want someone else riding a bike I service.

Did the experts kick the tyres, take a sharp intake of breath, shake their heads solemnly before going on to say it’s tricky but they can fix it. Just so happens they have a slot in their garage tomorrow. ;)

In seriousness mine sounds similar. My Hardley Davidson owning ‘friends’ would describe the motor as sounding like a hair dryer. Gits.

Mine makes a slight rumble when not in gear which DD assures me isn’t my tummy but the clutch cage. It’s probabl always done it but I never noticed.

I think the forum has broken - why did it serve me up a post dating back to 2017?

It was a jolly good post so perhaps needed an airing?
