That will make a big mess when someone gets offended about it and demands it be torn down. Best make temporary statues from now on that wash away in the rain. Edit: And the Statue of Liberty is looking a bit embarrassed these days - who’d have thought it possible that Biden is as daft as Trump.
I saw these cool repurposed metal guitar "sculptures" recently in an art collective featuring Tucson artists. You can't tell my the photo but these pieces the same size as actual guitars.
Lot's of folks. You should've been paying better attention to that mumbling idiot's previous 50 years in politics then, paying particular attention to every piece of bad legislation ever written in that timeframe. His signature is on it. I could've told you this administration would be an unmitigated disaster while he was campaigning. Oh but wait, I almost forgot…. he didn't actually campaign, but somehow wound up with more votes than any other POTUS in history.
Thank you. I am not familiar with American political history. I am beginning to see that in the rush to get rid of Trump that the door was open to any other available fuckwit that ambled along. The argument provided for Biden was he’s not Trump and therefore must be a deliverance from God. I have always been baffled that a country as large as the USA gets repeated dynasties of Presidents or other senior leaders from the same families. This surely shows the system is broken? If based on pure meritocracy then it would be unlikely that dad, son, brother etc would all reach senior political positions. Looking at some of Biden’s statements over the years - ouch…
I'm not going to really delve into politics as that's a sure-fire way to destroy a forum. That being said- All I'll say is that when you have a guy who's getting bashed by both the Dems and the Republicans(aka "RINO's)" he's probably doing something right, and nothing say's doing something right like a strengthening ecomomy, more manufacterers setting up shop, enemies who fear us, true allies who know we got their backs, faux allies(think NATO) being called out, and the protection our sovereign borders. We had all that until this year. Moving on- Another little factoid, since we have so many Brits in here... One of the first things Obama did when he moved into the White House was remove a bust of Winston Churchill from the oval office, gifted to the US by England. It had been there for decades. When he got called out on it he said it was a "clerical error," yet it was never returned. One of the first things Trump did when he moved into the White House was return it. Stuttering Joe has since removed it… again. I personally take great offense to this because I've always had tremendous respect for the UK, especially their Forces, as obviously we have traditional ties spanning 2 centuries.
I think most people with a military connection will acknowledge the relationship between UK and US. Generally though it’s because the Yanks can’t drink as much as Brits whilst remaining vertical, and the Americans always fall for every stupid trick we played on them. Gullible does not adequately describe some of the daft bullshit that was believed that we concocted in a mad moment. Other than that we got along fine. Better than.
Brings life to the idiom ‘moon on a stick’ Edit: Maybe the flat Earth folks got it right? The moon isn’t so large and they faked the moon landings!
The Flat Earth Society advertise themselves as a global organisation these days. I think I may join them, just for the craic
