Not the best photo but this is from our back porch a couple of evenings ago after we got RAIN!!!! Mr. Sandi read that we'd gone 90 straight days with no measurable precipitation. And temps around 115ºF all last week. We didn't get much but we'll take it. Something is better than nothing. And it smelled so good and cooled down so much after the rain that it was simply glorious!

Great news Sandi, everything will enjoy a little drink. We had a tornado last week and were sweeping the water out of our garage after 25mm in 40minutes some pics from my work

 

A fantastic photograph that exposes some interesting facts. That a service station could vend multiple manufacturers’ fuels and not be as today, franchised to a single provider. The second interesting fact is that people couldn’t park near the fucking pumps then either.

Oh my, @Dartplayer. I just now saw this post. I'm so sorry to read about the tornado and your garage flood. I hope you've managed to get everything cleaned up and that the sun is shining on you again.

I've a mate works at windmills, sent me a picture of him having a pee from the top, inside it peeing out a hatch

 

and hope there is no updraft...

 

One of the maddest things is free solo climbers. No ropes or help.
