This made me laugh

But it’s a man’s bike!!

 

Wasn’t sure wether this should have gone here or the good deed thread!
I was walking to the shops the other day, passed an old lady wobbling along on her bicycle, she’d obviously been shopping as her basket was full of shopping bag. Exchanged a cheery good morning, she was quite well known in the neighbourhood, prob in her late 80’s living on her own and wobbles around on her ancient Brompton type bike in all weathers. Anyhow I got to noticing this white trail on the pavement

it ran for as far as I could see, I had a chuckle thinking someone would get home and not have any milk for that cup of tea they were looking forward too. It then dawned on me that it was probably the old lady’s. The milk trail ran almost a mile to the little supermarket.
Well I bought an extra 2 pinter and followed the trail back and sure enough it turned into the old lady’s driveway. I rang on the doorbell but there was no answer so I just left the milk on the doorstep.

I think I can actually keep these New Year's Resolutions without too much trouble or willpower involved!

I’m apparently irritating the wife and kids, just because I keep singing “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” As we’re taking the decorations down!
