Well the left hand curves would take me 30 minutes to complete the right hand curves 20 seconds

 

Exactly - just as likely a proposition of anyone (in real life, given the chance of the two choices) of taking the ‘ride the road’ option - absolutely zero.

 

I had a taxi ride similar, 7 miles thru town, and only 10 minutes untill the car rental place closed, 6 stoplights, got airborne over the railroad tracks. Made it, he was good, I was nervous. A lot of fuel and brake pads consumed but he knew the car and traction limits well enough.

 

Given the offer I’d take her, but then again I’m spoiled with plenty of mountain roads to ride.

 

This made me cry, not laugh. I am an minority so I should get both. End of rant.

True story

Some Bikers were riding north on A1 when they saw a girl about to jump off a Bridge. So they stopped.

Dilligaf, their leader, a lean slightly pot bellied man of 53, gets off his Rocket, walks through a group of gawkers, past the coppers who were trying to talk the girl down off the railing, and says, "Eh up pet... whatcha doin' up there on that railin like'?"

She says tearfully, "I'm going to commit suicide!!"

While he didn't want to appear "sensitive," Dilligaf also didn't want to miss this "be-a-legend" opportunity either so he asked ...

"Well, before you jump, why don't you give ole Dilligaf here your best last kiss?"

So, with no hesitation at all, she leaned back over the railing and did just that ... and it was a long, deep, lingering

kiss followed immediately by another even better one.

After they breathlessly finished, Dilligaf gets a big thumbs-up approval from his biker-buddies, the onlookers, and even the Police.

Then he says, "Wow! That was the best kiss I have ever had, Honey! That's a real talent you're wasting, Sugar Shorts. You could be famous if you rode with me, wor lass wont mind. Why are you committing suicide?"

"My parents don't like me dressing like a girl."

At this point its still unclear whether she jumped or was pushed...

My cousin just called and asked if I would loan her £300.00 to help her pay her rent. Those who know me, know that I'm always willing to help out friends and family. I told her to give me some time to think about it and I would call her back. Before I called her back, my aunt called and told me that my cousin was lying and not to give her the money. She goes on to say that the real reason my cousin wanted the £300.00 was to get her boyfriend out of jail so she could be under the same roof as him for his birthday . I thought about it for a minute and decided to give her the £300.00 because we all need help at times. So, I called my cousin and told her to come and get the money. A couple of hours later, I get a call from Jail It was my cousin crying, screaming and asking why I gave her counterfeit money. My response...so you and your boyfriend could be under the same roof for his birthday
