Not a chance I would've handed them over. I wouldn't have kept them, and he may well have got them back, but it would have taken some serious time to find them. And one of them may have been damaged when it "fell" on the floor.

Reminds me of the time some guy pulled out on me on purpose at a junction, I was on a push bike, I apologise for that! , forced me onto the other side of the road, he had definitely seen me !! He pulled out a bit, stopped then carried on. Caught up with him at a mini roundabout, had a go at him, his response was along the lines of cyclists thinking they owned the road. So I reached in, took his keys out the ignition and threw them in the back of the car!! Sometimes I wish I had long enough arms to do it on a motorbike.
