Something similar actually happened to a woman I know. She is the wife of a buddy. She had hair down to her fanny (apologies to ZZ Top). She was using a handheld, gas leaf blower. Her hair got sucked into the intake, instantly wound her hair up in the works until it reached her head and knocked her unconscious! They recovered a tidy sum in a settlement with the manufacturer of the leaf blower.
