I think a Chinese version would be rather better designed.

Sent from my Xiaomi phone. :)

Don't know about taking bikes on buses, but you used to be able to do it on trains. Back in 1970, I was living in London and had been on holiday in Scotland. Returning down the A1 on my Dommy 99, it ran a big end somewhere near Darlington. (Something to do with travelling at 90mph for a few miles, I expect.) It limped as far as Darlington station, where they let me load it into the guard's van (good old British Rail) and travel with it down to London, where it was unloaded and managed to crawl home to Teddington, clattering horribly. Couldn't do that nowadays. (Travel in a guard's van, that is, if there's even still such a thing. Elf n safety, of course. It's still possible to run a big end, I imagine.)

I work for the railways myself. Back in the 70's I had Electrical problems with my 250 honda . My father was a driver and he arranged to get me on his train from Plymouth as far as Taunton in the earlyhours. Trying to find a ramp at Taunton got us into trouble as he wasn't meant to stop . Fast forward to today and nothing that's powered by petrol is allowed. I even turned away a guy with a petrol strimmer . I mean apart from the petrol, the size precludes is carridge as well . No guards van either . I spent many happy a journey sat on my Airforce kit bag with like minded souls swigging on mc Ewans ipa, ah happy times .
