My wife is otherwise engaged today so I decided to treat myself to a breakfast at Bolster Moor Farm Shop Cafe in West Yorkshire. The weather was dry but looked grim and the forecast was abysmal too so I set off in the car. After a couple of miles I came across a biker who was stopped and making a phone call. He was at a crossroads on a blind bend, not a place to stop so I guessed he had broken down. My first instinct was to stop and see if I could help, like you do. Then I saw it. On the tank it said Harley Davidson. So I drove by.
Well, it's not my fault he bought one and anyway I know SFA about Harleys.
Two hours later on my return and in the pissing rain, his bike was just getting loaded into one of those extra large recovery vans.
It just had to be a Harley.

 

It sounds like the old joke about 60% of the Harleys ever built being still on the road...

 

Who gives a feck about a HD, what about the breakfast. What was it like?

Well there was a long queue out the door which was a bit of a bummer so I went into the takeaway section where there wasn't a queue and got a huge bacon and sausage butty with HP sauce and a cup of tea. Ate it outside before the rain came. They have some picnic benches. The bacon and sausages are top notch, no greasy spoon cheap crap.

 

Now we know why eating carrots helps you see in the dark.
