I've had my 240 for ages, and one of the nicest things I can say about it is that it is built to be maintained with standard hand tools. I never knew that it was put together like this though.

 

I was heard muttering expletives about the stupid mechanic that put different grade fork oil in each of the front forks and a specially colourful description of the intelligence (or lack thereof) of the mechanic that tightens bolts with a screwdriver and hammer and buggers them up. Can’t trust main dealers at all.

Took my Himalayan back to the dealers with an electrical fault I had investigated it myself and diagnosed the problem as the reg/rec . Left it with em for ages , went to pick it up and they told me there was nothing wrong. Key in and , flat battery. Expressed surprise that I was angry . I thought maybe , just maybe this dealer would be better nope !

 

Mine doesn’t.
