Seeing the standard of Southerner drivers, I am not even sure they are aware of road signs, markings or the Highway Code. Tossers.

 

Londoners are worse.

 

They don’t worry about all that complicated stuff here in Norfolk. 40 mph everywhere, ignore all road signs and markings except red traffic lights which mean only 5 more cars are allowed through .

 

That must be why I don’t get any of those vulgar hand gestures just a sort of an awkward wave

Just got back from a week in Lincolnshire. Bloody terrible driving and potholes like crators .

 

They're not potholes. They are part of our flood defence scheme. The holes fill up with water thus keeping the other half of the road surface water free.

 

And someone said the driving standards had improved since @Petrol had gone home.
