While out delivering PPE on the bike today I went through a village which had a load of signs saying "Speed Kills Slow Down". That got me thinking that they are incorrect as jet fighter pilots regularly reach Mach 1 and come back alive. Therefore I reached the conclusion that speed doesn't kill but coming to a sudden stop that does. Like hitting a tree.

 

If you hit a tree in your fighter jet then you really are flying a bit too low.
