I thought this was one for the WTF thread but I think it is actually funny enough to put in here.

I am currently watching a programme on the box called 'What on Earth?' and there was just a piece on it about the Iranians showing off their military capability by attacking a wee mock-up of the USS Nimitz. Apparently it was meant to demonstrate that they could sink a powerful US warship in under a minute by firing everything they have at what was actually a barge with a flimsy skin on it and the tossers didn't even manage to sink it, having to tow it home once they ran out of ammo. I have to say that I found it hilarious and it also demonstrated that the Iranian state seem to have the mentality of a petulant five year old child. Somehow I don't see them taking over the world any time soon.
