Sally James on Tiswas. I know now that she was mainly there for the dads but I recall the "garter" segment where it soon became obvious that the Roayl Navy rather liked her too.
I had one of these. Awesome program.. Also wanted a blow up doll of Colonel Deering but that’s a “hole” different story
Probably more for the Scottish contingent - My brother and I found these two beauties in the back of my mums cupboard a few weeks back while clearing the house! They Expired in 1996. A staple of 1970’s/80 Scottish households and a reminder of simpler times.
Just spent 30 minutes reading through this thread, what a laugh and some very fond memories. Don't think it has been mentioned, what about petrol rationing in the 70's and the 50mph national speed linit?
In the 70's the national speed limt was reduced from 70 to 50mph to reduce the UK national fuel consumption during a fuel crisis. Petrol rationing vouchers where issued, but their use never implemented. Happy days eh! Wessa
Yup, big queues at petrol stations and people following petrol tankers not knowing if they were full or empty
Yep so do I some where in my filing cabinet........ Guess if I went looking I could find them as well. Glad somebody else remembers! Wessa
