The Schweppes bottling plant was down the road from us. We worked out how to lift a full crate over the fence by carefully putting our fingers through then passing it up link by link. Used to get 10p a bottle and 50p for the crate, so we would clear £1.70 per crate, enough for 20 Marlboro split 3 ways!!!!! :p

Guess by your replies Creamola foam was a Scottish thing. There was a big campaign to get it brought back. Wee sweet shop in Inveraray sells an imitation, but not as good as original.

I used to have this at my granny's in Dunbar Scotland. Never could get it in Leeds.
Another old fave was Cresta. Who is going to come up with the tag line from the ads?

Used to collect the tokens off the marmalade jars to get badges and little figures playing musical instruments. Still got em somewhere ....darednt show them to anyone I think I would get jailed for possession of articles likely to incite hate crimes.

They are just a momento of a time gone by, only ever going to offend the LGBT gluten free tree hugging yoga hipsters who throw their hands up in shock many times a day in horror because some folks dont conform to their idealology. Rant over ...
    ..for now.
