I've got the TCX Blend waterproof leather boots which I've had for a couple of years and very happy with them.
Ok so moving on today, where's this? Great weather and some lovely roads. The 765 just does it all, pottering along in 3rd gear just looking around to really making it sing Great bike.
I met up with the wife and MiL at the Sunshine cafe, Withernsea. They did a lovely cooked breakfast and their Fish Goujons, which the wife ordered but couldn't fully eat, were absolutely gorgeous Definitely recommended.
After what was recently a very doubtful and dubious future I'm sure I read somewhere that it now has a new lease of life. If it's reopened like it was previously when I last visited, it makes a very interesting walkaround for a few hours. Being walled in, its ideal for kids being let off the lead somewhat and enjoying themselves. I get the impression certain previous exhibits, one being a plane, have been sold off but certainly worth a trip out once it gets going again.
And today was different again. Home on the 765, swap bikes and get the wife on the back of the StreetTwin for a potter through the lanes. Two tasks to complete whilst out: 1/ Have a nice ice cream or milkshake after I missed out on my Flamborough one. 2/ Buy belly pork and ribs for tea. After a wander we arrived at Birkin tea room. An ice cream is only one or two scoops but a milkshake is a belly busting x3 scoops Banana From here we went to morrisons and collected x2 racks of ribs, x1 was bbq sauce and the other was plain to use our own chinese marinade on...... roll on teatime All in about 60 mile on the 765 and 40 mile on the 900.
Oh and for anyone liking the photo, and fancying a rideout for that view, its basically looking south west from spurn (before the breached section) looking inland towards Cleethorpes. Food, coffee, etc is available at The Crown (pub) about one mile back, or at the Spurn Discovery Centre which is about 200m before these pics.
Nice rideout today - Stirling, Glendevon, Gleneagles, Crieff, Auchterarder, and the Glendevon road was so good I rode it back again! No photos of that road though, too busy enjoying the ride..... View of The Wallace Monument in Stirling Unusual village name in my homeland! Giant golf clubs on Gleneagles roundabout Golf course was looking good - probably all the rain!
Is that near the bird hide? I've been but I think the opposite view compared to you and looking from the visitor centre direction.
The bird hide is near the cafe/visitor centre as far as i remember. This spot is at the top of the lake opposite the visitor centre.
Before riding down the canyon of river santiago, this is near Guadalajara Mexico At the bottom, the dam has the floodgates open From the other side of the canyon
