One of mine. I was painting relic ground dug war helmets at the time and was into the 'distressed' look. This just hangs on the garage wall with a few other display items.

Browsing some old(er) photos from past Las Vegas Bike Fests and thought I'd share these. This first one fits Las Vegas very well! Of course this is a helmet and not a tank, but it still seems to fit with the spirit of this thread.

Sugar skull artwork is pretty popular. I really liked this particular version.

These two bikes had not only amazing tank artwork but the paintwork on the entire bikes was absolutely stunning! Both of these bikes were part of a Bike Show focused primarily on H-D Dynas.

Not a fan of Harley, but have to agree the paint job on some of the bikes are fantastic...

Some really nice paint jobs there - I haven't really got myself organised enough to do flakes or lots of stencil cutting. But I might once my eyes settle down (operations on them for the last couple of years). Here's a couple of quick jobs for the custom shop near me that I did a while back - some of you may know the logo on the belt drive cover - that's not a sticker, it's hand painted. Again the distressed look to a Harley build, a pretty easy drawn skully sketchy tank and an SS tank that actually feels rusty as well as looking rusty. Just right for a Harleys. :grinning:

Carrying on with the spare tanks that seem to get in the way until they get hung on the wall. A never to be used coffin tank that I've done more welding on. Blimey, it used up a lot of wire. Will paint and then demote to wall.
