As @Adie P said, "What a welcome return!" Welcome back to the forum, @El Vikingo Tropical! Interestingly, I was just recently thinking about you and about your absence. I was wondering if you, like a number of others, had gravitated to other forums (or no forums) and left us for good. I'm really glad to see you back here. And to see that sweet bike up and running! What a terrific build and so perfect for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in May. Looking forward to more of your great builds and related posts.
Interesting. I should be in Andalucia (somewhere) next week as a friend and I are doing a 5 day trail riding holiday there. Buy you a beer - or two - if we meet!
Beer is always welcome ! But I arrive to the mainland the 29th. At same time as I’m finishing the T140 I’m busy making a Guzzi 1000SP cafe racer, making a Ducati Multistrada DS1000 naked, building a 3.7L engine for my Boxster, finish the Austin Countryman… Waiting projects Guzzi Califonia cafe racer Kawasaki Z1000 1976 restoration Restore Saab Sonnet ll
Well not really just an old Scandi living at tropical place and drinking the local beer named Tropical
@Sandi T Thank you Sandi ......... it will be something of a welcome break after all the time spent in trying to get things somewhere close to straight with the house. We're not quite there yet - Spain or the house - but at least I can see SOME progress. I'll try to take lots of pictures (of non-Triumphs) while I'm there and maybe do a review on the holiday adventure!
Glad you’re taking the time to get away from the house stuff, Adie! I hope it’s a refreshing pause. Yes, please do a review of your holiday adventure and share lots of photos with us, too.
Today I made the first test drive (without mufflers) down to the local workshop to connect the exhaust. Soon ready
Hi Sandi Short…. Not so good, I have to take out the carburators for cleaning again as the engine didn’t get enough fuel
I after cleaning the carburettors well (again) the bikes starts up well, now time for adjusting it as it runs a bit rough at te moment, I also have to fix some oil leaks..
I believe I’m going well at the schedule to have the bike ready for this years Gentleman Drive the 22th may
