    Hi,

I have a 2016 Air Cooled T100 which was jerking like a crazy monkey at low revs as it came out of the shop. Really dangerous on roundabouts and even more on wet.
I fixed this by blocking the AI hose that goes from the top of the airbox with a marble (in fact a 14 mm bearing ball).
See this link for full history:
    https://www.triumphrat.net/air-cool...36226-ai-full-removal-vs-hose-blocking-2.html

In fact some little jerking remains. This totally disappeared when I opened the air intake by placing a TTP bellmouth, removing airbox constrains and remap (I have fre flow Norman Hyde Peashooters),

Basically I guess a 11 mm marble and 5 minutes can solve 99% of your issue, and if it does not it takes 5 minutes to bring back the bike to previous status.

PS- What is a fuel booster?

Hi & thanks for reply, interesting read, to be honest I'm a bit reluctant to mess with the bike too much as it is quite new and should anything go wrong it will invalidate the warranty, so for the moment as it is now 'winterised' I will just chip away at Triumph until they put it right - I imagine it will be a long drawn out journey! Norman Hyde Toga kit with de-cat and PC5. They gave Dynojet a T100 to work with to develop a map and they supply the PC5 with a map ready to go. Great result in every respect. https://normanhyde.co.uk/hinckley-t...exhaust-power-commander-and-decat-bundle.html

I have a video of these fitted here, they make T100 sound like a proper British twin
AND you can get to the chain adjusters without any bother ANNNND they look like the original parts, see here:

It is possible that some are more affected than others. No two engines are the same and the map is generic with poor fuel quality in mind and not to mention euro 4 regs which many manufacturers have struggled with. If you spoke to your dealer they would probably fit the de-cat for you and give you warranty assurance and then just fit the rest of the Norman Hyde kit I posted about earlier. ;) If in the unlikely event something went wrong they have to prove that it was related to the work you did and you could always switch parts back before talking to them.
