Suppose it had to happen sometime - think I got away with it

    Rooster if your like me you would rather suffer a minor injury than damage your bike.This photo is an illustration of that. At last years TT I was watching on an open roads day at Windy Corner and the owner of this bike a young lad lost it and hurtled into the barrier.
    Laying there injured and later in hospital his only concern was his bike helmet and leathers.
    He ended up with a broken leg and wrist and had stitches in his head but I totally understood where he was coming from.
    When I saw him in Nobles he was telling me how he was going to get pattern parts to replace everything damaged.
    Oh the joy of youth and being so much more flexible than when you are older.

    Thanks for that - I feel his pain!
    I was very lucky in having the panniers on and having fitted the bar end sliders earlier. It could have been a lot worse!
