Be interesting to see how the rollout progresses across the NHS and wider community.

The vaccine should be offered free to the rich and famous of this country first. The anti-vax brigade will then get all SHOUTY demanding their vaccinations. Job done 100% coverage. :mask:

    Don’t succumb to lazy thinking.

    Appropriate testing isn’t anti vax.

Did you even bother to watch about how long a ‘28 day’ test actually takes to conduct? About the complete absence of reliable data from the makers?

Hmm, looks like the covid has robbed you of your sense of humour.

As someone married to a concerned rapid response NHS nurse who visited at least two covid patients last night. I know who i shall be taking advice from. :mask:

There is definitely a divided view of the vaccination and most of the antis are younger my daughter is adamant about not having the vaccine although she is not able to quantify just why other than quoting the masses who are scared of the side effects which is understandable,
And the other side of the coin is people of a certain age who are scared of the virus ending their life prematurely which is also quite understandable we would just like the few extra years we have rather than worry about what might happen in ten or 15 years when we might not be around anyway.

Oh my humour is perfectly intact. I can even smile at the NHS definition of ‘rapid response’ as 2 hours. I take nothing from the nurses themselves.

And a ‘28 day test’ takes a year to conclude. So forgive my cynicism at the BS emanating from Hancock & co. We simply cannot quantify the risks I.e. cost/benefit......yet.

Yes sadly people die from all sorts of causes ... but based on this trial it seems you are twice as likely to die from random stuff if you don't don't take the vaccine. Sign me up ;)

“According to the published data, six of the participants in the experiment died, two of whom received the vaccine and four of the control group,” said Dr. Uri Lerner, the scientific director for Midaat. “After an in-depth examination, no connection was found between the experiment and the cause of death.”

Interesting to see the stats for willingness to take the vaccine broken down by age.

No thanks, I'd rather you had it to keep those of us with compromised autoimmune systems safe from catching it.

You do understand that getting on for 80% of the population probably have pre-existing or infection acquired immunity? They are better protected than any vaccine can give? You could well be one of them.

How many of your paracetamol deaths were overdoses; deliberate and accidental?

    Context matters.

You will find a stack of UK morbidity stats on Dr Clare Craig’s Twitter feed. Accidents in the home?
