Mines tight on full right lock with the low bars, can’t really tell you how tight in relation to the Standard bars

Are your cables in the same position as mine? (Electric, brake and harness)

Yes apart from I didn’t fit the plastic shrouds as they seemed to cause excess strain on all the cables.
My clutch cable definitely has pressure on the wiring harness but doesn’t seem to have caused any wear.

Ok, at this time there is a factory recall (bonneville t120 and street twin) because the clutch hits the harness, this makes me uncertain
On pictures i saw, its the same problem like mine

Unless Triumph bring up a recall, just monitor if you get any excess wear from the cable touching the electric harness

Fingers crossed for you and me, I didn’t look around the loom before I fitted the fairing.
Perhaps ask the question to owners that haven’t fitted a fairing

I did refer to problems of routing clutch cable, brake hose and harnesses in my earlier post to this thread. These problems are not just associated with a change of risers. Anyone with a fairing should take a good hard look at where all the cables and wiring are going and what happens to them from lock to lock as it there are potential problems with the original design.

Ex-factory the clutch cable passes through the bottom part of the harness clamp on the headstock. I took it out of this clip so it just hangs down until it passes into the top downtube clip. Seems to be alright after 5,000km.

I’ve done the same and I also rerouted the loom but the clutch cable still sits tight to the back edge of the loom, I don’t think there’s going to be an issue, only time will tell

I solved the Problem today, 3 Hours of work.
I rerouted all the cables in the headlight, i got 2cm more space at the harness. The most efficiancy thing was removing the clutch cable from the first clip, now it isn‘t tight yet.

Here the Pictures before and after, sorry with german comments

I also mask the nameplate with a foil, if you dont do this, the harness/brake hose scrubs the plate...

I think it’s the tubes the harness passes through, but I’m not totally sure

    You‘re right glyn, see here:

    Summary

The two wire conduits in the aftermarket Cafe Racer Fairing kits have insufficient clearance and may cause damage to the wiring.

    Consequence
Damaged wiring may lead to an engine stall or loss of the headlight or turn signals, increasing the risk of a crash.

    Remedy
The remedy component [Part No. A9708524 (Thruxton) and A9708522 (Thruxton R)] includes larger apertures than the recalled component.
