It looks like something has gone wrong when removing and replacing the wheels. I would check the following for both wheels:
Check that all wheel spacers have been put back correctly.
Check the Speed Sensor cable for damage.
Check the Pulser Ring for damage/warping and make sure it is clean.
Check the Speed Sensor air gap which should be between 0.4mm and 1.2mm assuming it is the same as my Speed Triple which I suspect it is?
The gap is adjusted by means of a washer/shim which goes between the sensor and it's fixing bracket. If the sensor was removed you may have lost the washer? Washers come in various thicknesses between 0.5mm and 2.0mm.

Sorry to hear about the issues.

My speed twin is now with the dealer again as the indicators stay on and do not flash, as do the hazard lights. Can’t just change a little relay, or switch..No, it needs a completely new dash, total replacement. It is out of warranty but the dealer has managed to get it sorted through Triumph…

hopefully nothing else will go wrong.

Kinell. Good job Triumph are sorting it as new instruments cost over £800 plus fitting. I would have suspected the relay but it could be something to do with the indicator direction arrows within the clock perhaps?

not sure but when you search the forums it seems to be an issue. Glad Triumph are sorting it. I’ve got some tasty exhausts to fit once I get her home, and new shocks.

Hiya mate & thanks for the info.
This is the first time the wheels have been off the speed twin sine I bought it brand new & done it many times over the years; albeit non with the control wizardry as is now the norm “uugh”.
I’m extra careful with spacers etc & take photos as well as you tube guidance, & stickler for double checking.
I just think the electronics have “non dealer tamper” protection that brings on the spanner light !!
Im popping in to the dealers to see what they say, as put an error reader on it which registered “ no codes !
Will keep you posted & thanks guys.

The spanner icon is just telling you that you’re approaching service time, isn’t it (hence no error code)?

    Hi there Guys,
Well I’m pleased to say my trusty Triumph speed twin is now fully sorted after a day of backtracking to make sure I’d done everything before I begrudgingly took back to the dealers to reset the data; & admitting defeat. Glad I did too, as follows. Check - check & check again !!
Took back wheel out to make sure all was well. Cleaned sensor & re-assembled ✔️ Went 50 yards & put put put. Not that end.
Loosened front wheel fasteners but looked whether the sensor matched with a Red logo on the wheel which I thought was the magnet sensor on the wheel & it didn’t line up. That’s when I looked on the other side of the wheel & saw the ABS serrated ring, bingo !
The tyre fitters had put the front tyre on the wrong way round & I just saw 2 discs the same diameter & equal spacers & put it on with the rotation arrows pointing the right way, never giving the abs ring a second thought !!
I took the wheel straight back & the guy was bewildered as deffo the wrong way round & id never checked. Be warned fellas !! Good news though, because I still thought it would have messed up the emu still & have to be reset, including the spanner. Fitted the wheel back, took it for 3 mile spin; yippee!! Back to its best & no warning lights. ✔️✔️
Another lesson learned today, to pass on to not give up hope & to share stuff which I’m grateful for your comments & threads, fyi. Thanks guys & good luck with some of your probs & will keep an eye on the forums to give & receive help between us. Cheers

It’s usually the rear tyre that they get wrong on the Speed twin as the chain drive is the opposite to most bikes, I always make sure to make a point of telling them.
