Hi Bryf and welcome to the forum  Usually cheaper to buy 10 from an engineering shop than 1 original.
    Guys will help with options

Hi Dartplayer thanks for the welcome. Yes I have always just bought standard cap bolts for replacing with my previous bikes, they have all just been on a standard thread and easy to obtain, looked everywhere online for bolts to fit the Triumph but no luck so far

Just made enquiries with my local dealer regarding availability and price of replacement footpeg blobs didn't have them in stock but said they could order them for me, so enquired the price before agreeing and was absolutely shocked to be told £8.15 for one tiny steel bolt therefore £16.30 for a pair, what an absolute rip off, not hard to see why they made them with a non standard thread, I normally get through 4 to 6 sets a season (previous bikes) so would set me back somewhere around £65 to £98 a year, DISGRACEFUL

Did you get round to fitting the tail tidy in the end?

I'm looking to fit one too.

Got any photos and which tail tidy you chose?

Hi again just noticed you asked which tail tidy, got it from tecbikeparts, they got quite a few quality looking aftermarket items available

If you get them at that rate why bother with them at all?
Or you could buy a cheap lathe and make your own!

Hi Speeder, wouldn't want to run without them because I would just end up ruining the actual footpegs!! Think I have hopefully? maybe found cap bolts on ebay that will do the job, only prob is they are coming from China, should get them in a month or so and will then be able to see if they are any good or not.

    Cheers
