I take it it was dark when you noticed the glow from the header pipes
If so I wouldn’t worry about it mate :)
All bikes headers get very hot but you normally don’t notice in the daylight or when riding the bike because they’re in front of you and you can’t see them :)

It was a very dull day in Cromer week before last, only saw it when looking at the photos, I can just see the left side header and that looks ok.
When I get back to Norfolk I will check plugs and air filter, but both are pretty recent.

    Hi Mallywoods,
In a previous post about SAI on here the other day I mentioned this very thing yes you can leave that air valve under the tank plugged in and your EML light will stay out if you remove it all the light will come on ie a fault code error this can be overcome with either a blank plug with a resistor or programming the SAI out within tune ecu,I have just recently done my 2016 thruxton this way fully removed the whole system fitted blank plugs into cylinders and airbox and unticked the SAI within tune ecu when remapping it with the Triumph OEM factory map to run with the TORS pipes and the bike runs perfectly as hated the popping back on the overrun, heres the item number for the blank kit with resistor from Evilbay,I hope this helps,
