    All time top vocalist list?

This man would have to feature somewhere very near the top, surely?

and still pumping out great vocals at over 70 years of age!

Saw this lot last week. Top gig, excellent support from Those Damn Crows, too.

Don't know the singer's name but he's got a great voice. They went down well with the crowd.

Volbeat??? What a snooze-fest … my gran listens to that when she needs to go to sleep after emptying her colostomy bag in the middle of the night… and she’s been dead for 8 years!!!
    Yawn!!!

I think what you meant to say was… try some Machine Head to start the weekend revelry!!!

That’s obviously an issue with your set up… probably a bit strong for your delicate ears and your server is protecting you… glad you liked the Enya though!:laughing::laughing:

Went to see old Ian earlier this week.

For a 74 year old he's certainly moving around very well and can still stand on one leg, unlike me, I tend to fall over. Oddly I felt, I enjoyed this weeks performance much more than when I last saw him 25/30 years ago.
I went to King George's Hall Blackburn and what a lovely theatre it is with it's huge cylindrical white glass and black striped art deco lights dangling from the ceiling.

Sounds like he's doing better than Phil Collins. Remiss of me never to have seen Tull or Mr Anderson live.

I saw them back in 1989… they’d been on the go for 21 years back then! Manchester Apollo, another great venue… I might be mistaken, but I think they were supported by Little Angels… who were a fun 80’s rock outfit!

Bloody hell, Ian Anderson. Saw them back when God were a lad, at Nottingham Albert Hall. I think they were billed with a band called Paladin and a weird folk duo called Tir Na Nog, or something. Bonus point for anyone who can tell me about the original Jethro Tull without resorting to Google.......:)

Just found the original concert listing, September 24th 1970. Not Paladin, the other band was Procol Harum. Decent line up that was :)
