Sad news. Another great has left us, one of my heros, got to see them in Cork a while back...
RIP Dusty Hill, what a legend!

 

I just heard about this, too, @andyc1. Such a legend and such a loss. I saw ZZ Top in concert twice, once in Tucson and once at the Laughlin River Run. For Valentine's Day in 2020 Mr. Sandi got us tickets to a ZZ Top concert to be held in Tucson in April of 2020. Then Covid hit and the concert was rescheduled but cancelled again and never rescheduled after that.

One of my absolute all time favorite rock bands. RIP, Dusty.

 

Also very sad to hear the news about Dusty. Their headline set at Monsters of Rock at Donington in 1985 is an enduring memory.

I hadn’t heard Windhand before, reminds me of a doom metal band I saw in Reykjavík a few years ago… trancey hypnotic sounds.

How about some Red Fang, they look like they have the best time making their vids!
