There's some really good stuff being put up on here and, as a lifelong hard rock fan, I'm enjoying some stuff that's new to me - I've ordered all 3 of THUNDERMOTHER's cd's so, thanks, Tucker! Of course, we're never all gonna like the same stuff - even within specific "genres" (AC/DC died when Bon Scott died as far as I'm concerned!) but I try to give a fair hearing to most of the tracks posted, though I'll readily admit that some don't get past the first throaty growl! Now, following a recent, all too brief, road trip to Mull by car, I was VERY tempted to post a link to Fingal's Cave from the Hebrides Overture by Mendelssohn as it had been in my mind all the way up beyond Glasgow but, I'm really not too sure that a 10 minute piece of classical music would "connect" with a large enough congregation of the broad church of musical tastes of bikers to make it worth the punt ...... SO, trying to stay in line with a "softer" feel to some of my musical tastes, I've picked a track to offer to you from Jack SAVORETTI. On a purely personal note, this track personifies, musically and lyrically, pretty much everything I feel about having met, got to know, love and marry the remarkable woman that is my wife ..... God help her! If you're lucky enough to truly love the partner in your life, then perhaps you'll know and understand exactly where this song is coming from. Perhaps he or she might, too - but they'll need to hear it so here is "Only You" by Jack SAVORETTI :- I hope you all enjoy a mellow Sunday afternoon and the remainder of your weekend! p.s. apologies - I couldn't find a recorded version that didn't have the lyrics overtyped .... SORRY!
Yeah, that's probably the one I'd have chosen ........... thanks. Worked out perfectly for me - Savoretti AND Mendelssohn - the music Gods are smiling! Cheers Sprinter.
Would you like a shot of clear sexual innuendo and a helping of double entendre with that hard rock track you ordered, Sir? Yes? Coming right up ...... so to speak!
