i think there is only one of the original members left, bit of trivia the original lead singer Brian connolly was the brother of mark mcmanus (Taggart)
Dougie Maclean wrote this when he was a youngster while busking in Europe and missing home,he lives not far from me, i think Frankie Millers version is great.
Frankie sang it for a tennents lager tv advert and was then released as a single the ad was probably only shown in Scotland,All Scots will know the song, Dougie Maclean has made a fortune out of it,much deserved as he is a good bloke
this was one of the first reggae/ska songs i heard, i remember he used to make some cracking faces while singing this song
Had a listen to it today Jez,never heard any of this stuff before, brittish reggae must have passed me by i can take reggae in small dozes quite like Bob Marley stuff oh and UB40 were ok
Ah, but Queen's ultimate biking soundtrack is a lesser well-known track from Innuendo. You just cannot listen to this and not think "damn I really wanna go for a spin now".
Don't think i've heard that one before, good idea putting footage of the TT up and the Moto GP was a nice touch at the end of the video...yeah want to ride my bike now!!
My son used to like this one..i do too... i must point out it has nothing to do with the georgeous babe with the leather basque and sussies
Well I thought it was about time I put my pennies worth in so here goes with a bit of AC/DC Highway to Hell
Then a bit of one of my old favourites Meat Loaf with Good Girls Go To Heaven (bad girls go everywhere else)
